Beneteau First 38s5 "Alouette"

Built for speed and stylish comfort - the Philippe Starck interior is both warm and efficient with soft curves and a lacquered teak finish, two private staterooms - each with its own head and shower (electric head aft),  luxurious salon which feeds 6 around a spectacular table -  a new (2002) 12V JVC  Stereo System with cassette tape deck and 12 Disk CD changer, new inside and outside speakers (September 2001). Electronics: AUTOHELM SEATALK Instrument System with 7 Display Heads, integrated with the CHARTPLOTTER-GPS, AUTOPILOT and RADAR. Alouette has a large 340 RIB Avon dinghy with a 15HP Mercury O/B, a large Cockpit with awning, table, Built-in seats on the stern pulpit, and a swimstep with freshwater shower. The fully equipped Galley has a new microwave (September 2002), CUISINART Cookware, an electric Blender and Coffeemaker with timer. Alouette has a 43HP turbocharged Volvo Diesel, 100 Gallon water tanks, a Heart Interface 2.5KW Inverter with Link 2000 Monitor for A/C power, and a Simpson-Lawrence Electric Windlass controlled up and down from the helm. Alouette is a very fast and easy to sail fractional rig with a solid boomvang, oversize winches, a 140% Genoa, a full-batten "Stackpack" mainsail with built-in lazy jacks (new July 2002), a custom traveler (June 2001) and a Spinnaker (on request). She sleeps 6.  Alouette is available for races, and was the first boat to cross the finish line in the 1996 NEWPORT-ENSENADA Race.
